In the autumn of 2019, the Port of Tallinn started the reconstruction of the D-terminal and the renewed terminal was finally opened to passengers in the summer of 2020. Estonia's largest sea gate got a new and modern look and the total area of the building using environmentally friendly energy solutions almost doubled to 14,000 square meters.
The façade of the new terminal building is as impressive as the country’s sea gate should be – the glass façade with background lighting is covered with large wall panels and decorative mesh. Hansab installed an outdoor LED screen on the facade of the terminal building, with dimensions of 6.4 x 5.8 meters.
The LED screen has a high brightness and ensures ideal visibility even in direct sunlight. The screen is weatherproof and suitable for use in our Nordic climate.
