Digital price tags at Maxima Grocery stores
07.03.2021
To streamline the energy-intensive task of retail price switching, Hansab Latvia has installed more than 10,000 electronic price tags in two Maxima grocery stores in several product areas.
One of the main goals of the solution was to facilitate the change of price tags in those areas of the store where it is necessary to do so relatively often. With the introduction of the solution, employees no longer need to make manual price changes, which not only significantly improves the productivity of employees, but also avoids the likely possibility of human error. In addition, the staff can now focus on higher value-added tasks, such as customer service.
Thanks to SES Imagotag technologies we were able to successfully provide the required price tag functionality. In addition to electronic price tag solutions, they also provide other modern shelf and warehouse monitoring, advertising, and product promotion functions.
The introduction of electronic price tags is a step in the right direction for retail, so we are pleased that Maxima has chosen us to design and implement this project.
